Late Monday gleanings
Annoying day of errands and work at home, followed by infuriating crashes of primary laptop browser under assault from my news line-up. But better late than never...
- Well, the big news of the day is the announcement that Philadelphia District Attorney Lynn Abraham doesn't intend to run for reelection (in 2009). Perhaps the continuing visibility of recent challenger (and general non-creep) Seth Williams gave her second thoughts. Dan UA recaps the reasons to rejoice.
- Tom Fitzgerald authors a very apt summary of the first US Senate debate (personalities more than debate points), for those who've been waiting all week to find out how it went... (?)
- Casino protesters were out in force again yesterday, "giving motorists a taste of congestion to come". . .
- AAJane provides an interview with Mike Paston, another state legislative candidate that I don't know, heh. He's running for the seat in the 152nd District.
