I feel like I have food poisoning or something close, so I'm headed for home and a crash on the couch. Here are a few other things that might interest somebody:

• Philadelphia's campaign finance reports are now available on the web.
  
  
• The city's cabbies complain that new state oversight may drive them out of business, with hiked and mulitplying fees and requirements.

  1. Governor Corzine is creating a state department of homeland security to look after ports et al.
     
     
  2. The NJ Attorney General is continuing a moratorium on death penalty use, citing practical considerations (effectiveness low, costs high, etc.). Lynn "Tough Cookie" Abraham appears to feel differently... sigh.
